“Good things will endure the trial. The best of the good is its enduring the fire.” (‘The Bible Conqueror’ Sermon 392, p13 on this journal)
I love journals. I have a collection of journals that I would write my thoughts, projects or just doodles. I’ve also use them to jot down quotes from books or during church service from the preacher’s sermons. In this leather edition of Spurgeon Journal, it is a beautiful and practical journal for this journal fanatic. The ruled lines are perfect for journaling or practicing your lettering. The pages are of great acid-free paper and the size of 8.25″ x 5″ x 0.6″ thick is a lovely size to carry around. It also opens flat, which is very important for ease of writing. Know what I mean?
What makes this special is the collection of quotations from Charles H. Spurgeon’s early sermons. It’s not overpowering, but noted on some pages, and it always follow with where it’s taken from. It’s small on the bottom, and acts like a little reminder or something to ponder on.
A journal is very personal, and for me, this journal adds a touch of something special. Therefore, it’ll be a great gift for yourself or for others.
