The Look and Find Bible Storybook has a lot of positives going for hit.
When the reader first picks the book up they will notice the foamy front and back covers which are extremely child-friendly and are easily to carry in the hand.
The cover is bright and inviting with vibrant colors and copious action-oriented artwork to engage the child’s sense of adventure and wonder.
Each page of the book is durable, but not as stiff as the hard-page block books for babies. The pages are the middle ground between standard text pages and the hard pages on would find in baby books.
When the child opens the book they will find eight chapters/stories with large, clear, and clean text on one page with a clear title at the top and Scripture reference for the story at the bottom. The stories are one single-page long enough to engage and hold the children’s attention throughout the story, but not too long where they will lose interest.
On the other page is a “Where’s Waldo?” style picture jammed full of action-oriented items which parents can engage with alongside their children.
Each picture folds out on the reverse side of the story page revealing a two-page picture and a checklist of items for children to discover. The pages are glossed in such a way that parents can use a dry-erase marker to check off the items found if they were inclined to do so.
This story book would be a fantastic edition to use many different ways: night time devotionals with little ones, in car trip entertainment, non-electronic media entertainment time, etc.
At a family-budget friendly price point, this would be a great addition to a family with young children.
