Book Review: Look & Find Bible Storybook
I love reviewing children’s books for two reasons:
1). They are fun to read.
2). My kids think it’s cool to get books in the mail.
Having a six and seven-year old my kids are outgrowing adorable books and reading more about dinosaurs and fancy girls. However, the day the Look & Find Bible Storybook arrived was a different story.
The day it arrived in the mail they immediately took it and sat down to look at it; I didn’t get a chance to even look at the book first. Soon after an argument began and I had to explain how the book worked. While one child read the story the other child was searching for items in the picture. They did not open the flap to see the list of items to look and find. When I explained that, it was even more entertainment.
Obviously, this does not have every Bible story contained in it, but it covers Creation, Noah’s Amazing Ark, The Exodus, David & Goliath, Jonah & the Big Fish, Jesus is Born, Jesus Feeds the Five Thousand, and Jesus Has Risen. The pages are thick like a board book and can be written on with a dry erase marker (if you allow those in your home). In our case, I was able to wipe Chick-Fil-A sauce off the pages with a Clorox Wipe.
This is a great book for elementary age children for Christmas, Birthday, or even to travel with. These types of books are great for the ride to Grandma’s house.
Thanks to B & H Publishing for allowing me to review this book in exchange for my review. If you are interested in purchasing this book you can click here.
