As a Christian mom, I am always looking for new ways to make learning about the Bible fun for my kids. My 3-year-old loves his Rhyme Bible and his Beginner’s Bible, and we read from them often, but it’s nice to have other fun Bible-based activities.
From the minute I pulled this book out of the package and showed it to him, he was hooked. He loved finding the items from each Bible story in the picture, and we talked about the story as we looked.
A few things you should know about this book:
– It contains eight Bible stories that you can read together before you explore the look & find scene. (The only thing I don’t like about this is that you can’t read the story while they’re looking for the items.)
– There are two look & find options: an easier version with pictures (for younger kids who can’t read) and a more challenging checklist version. I love this feature, because it means the book can grow with my kids!
– You can use a wipe-off marker to circle the items as you find them, then wipe them off and look again. I don’t know that we’ll ever actually do that, but it’s good to know!
All in all, this was a fabulous find for us, and one of my son’s favorite new books.
